First Attempt
Good Chap of the Week 4: Rolf Harris
My friend Bill has been asking me to make Rolf the GCOTW for quite a while now. At first I refused, on the grounds that the person responsible for Two Little Boys could never earn the title. But having given it some thought, I have come round to Bill’s way of thinking. Rolf is a true Rennaisance man, as he is an accomplished painter, musician and singer. He has invented a musical instrument (the wobble board, see photo), and he is one of the most distinguished didgeridoo players in the world. He is sufficiently respected as a painter to have been commissioned to paint a portrait of the Queen to commemorate her 80th birthday.
He seems a genuinely decent bloke, and you just can’t help but like him. What a great chap!
