It’s from their album Everyday Chemistry, which you probably won’t have heard of as it was only released in a parallel world in which the Beatles didn’t split up.

Anyway, it’s given this bloke an excuse to mix up various bits of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison’s post-Beatles output with little bits of this and that. I quite like this one.

It was the one night of the year when free beer was served all night by topless waitresses on roller skates.

Library ban for 'pungent body odour' man :

“Library officials in Leicestershire have banned a regular reader from their building following complaints about his “pungent” body odour.

The council said they were forced to act as visitors left Wigston Library when Stuart Penman, 27, arrived.

Staff said they have advised him about his personal hygiene, but it had not improved after a year.

Mr Penman has now been banned from the building for six months. He reportedly said he felt picked on.

Mr Penman, who came forward to highlight his complaints in the media, said: “I went in there on Monday with my wife and they told me I was barred because of my feet.” “

It’s good to see my home county of Leicestershire making the national news. This story has also been reported in The Sun and the Daily Mail.

Uniquely for a beer, this Scottish brew is aged in oak barrels. It’s often been noted that wines which have been oak-aged take on some vanilla notes from the oak. In this beer, the vanilla aspect is prominent, so much so that drinking this beer is like drinking an ice cream cone. I’ll have to have a couple more of these before I decide if I really want a beer that tastes of frozen dessert.
